Back Down To Pack I Go

I am leaving for Tampa first thing tomorrow morning.
Ap0k has too much to do at work so I will be going back by myself.
I have sooooo much to do!
The movers will be there on Friday to pick everything up so I have go get everything sorted and packed.
Unfortunately the furniture will not be delivered up here until Thursday or Friday of next week. That means I will need to pack the blankets, the bathroom stuff, and at least some of the kitchen stuff in my truck to bring back with me. We will have to sleep on the floor for close to a week, but at least there is carpet so we should be just fine.
All of the utilities are on and in our names now. The cable (TV and internet) s not scheduled to be turned on until the 9th so I will be without for a few days. What will I do without the internet????? Guess I had better bring some books back with me too.
While I am down there I have to remember to get a cat carrier, turn of ]f the utilities, go to the post office to get the address changed and the mail forwarded, etc.
Saturday morning I will head back up here for good.
YAY!!!
The packing should be easy enough once I figure out what is going and what all is staying. The movers said there would be no problem with them bringing Ap0k’s tools and stuff so that is a load off my mind.

With the drive down there, the days I will be there, and the drive back, I will be apart from Ap0k for 5 days. I hate that! I miss him terribly when we are not together.
But this should be the last time we will be separated for awhile than goodness!!!!

I will have cable down there for a few days so I will be able to check in now and then.
I’ll leave a note here when I leave.

New House

For those of you who might want a peek, here is a picture of the house we rented.
It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a one car garage, and a nice patio out back.
I think it's a cute little place....

Sharon Woods - The Colors Of Fall

Yesterday Ap0k and I went to what has to be the most beautiful park in the US.
Sharon Woods is a 762 acre park surrounding Schrock Lake. It has miles and miles of hiking and biking trails.
Being fall, the scenery is simply breathtaking. Since I am a flatlander from Florida the scenery here is beyond my imagination. In Florida everything is either green or dead year-round. Fall in Ohio is a riot of colors. Florida is also as flat as a pancake. If you get 6’ above sea level you are on a hill. Here it is TOTALLY different. Up and down, up and down, everywhere you go is either up or down.

Thankfully we actually remembered to take the camera with us.

A New House? Looks Like It!

Things are definitely looking good on the home search front.
Today I found one that is pretty much everything we wanted in a rental.
It is a cute little brick house in a nice mixed neighborhood. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a garage for Ap0k’s girlfriend, new paint, carpet, and tile throughout the house, and all new windows and blinds. It’s only 4 miles from where Ap0k works so I will be able to transport him back and forth to and from work. That way we won’t have to get another car right away. It’s also right around the corner from a giant mall, a Walmart, a Sam’s Club, a Target, and every other store and restaurant you can think of. Best of all, it allows cats so there will be no problem bringing Tippy up here.
Barring anything odd popping up, we should be signing the papers on it tomorrow morning.
The guy who owns the house seems very nice. Just a regular guy, if you know what I mean. He seemed happy that we could afford the house. I thought that was odd until he told me that most people who apply either have no job or only have $100 in the bank.
We won’t be able to go back to pack until Wednesday at least. Ap0k wants to drive down with me, but he has a big meeting on Tuesday. Argh! Stuck in the hotel for another 4 days.
I’m getting a much better feel for the area. I drove around a bit today and had no troubles. Of course I never leave without my map!
Living in a hotel is not all wine and roses. Today I had to go upstairs to do the laundry. It stinks up there! The 3rd floor is the smoking floor and it smells like a giant ashtray. It still seems SO odd to have a smoking floor in a hotel and smoking sections in restaurants. In Florida smoking has been banned almost everywhere. If you were to light up in a restaurant they would spray you down with a fire extinguisher! I smoke, but since Ap0k doesn’t we are in a non-smoking room. I have to go out, down the hall, down the stairs and outside if I want a cigarette. Bah! It’s cut down on my smoking though. I never thought that I would say it, but I miss cooking. Restaurants are great, but not all of the time. All we have in here is a microwave. There’s not a lot you can do with that without stinking up the entire floor. I do like having Ap0k in the same room with me all the time though. He goes to bed a lot earlier than I do, but it makes me happy when I glance over and see him across the room.
I think we may be going back to Newport tomorrow night so that I can take pictures of the skyline to take to my daughter. If I do, I will post the pictures here too.
I am getting much better with the keyboard and pad on this laptop. The keyboard is just smaller than my desktop one so I am constantly hitting the caps lock key instead of the shift key. The pad was giving me fits, but I have just about got the hang of it. It’s funny how hard it is to get used to new things. You become so used to what you normally use that you do it without even thinking. Toss something new in the mix and it throws you for a loop.

Levees, Winter Clothes, Seafood, and Shadows

I actually drove around a bit on my own today. I managed to find a Fed-Ex office, a WalMart, a gas station, and a Captain D’s all by myself. I even found my way back to the hotel without getting lost once. While that may not seem like much, I figure it’s a step in the right direction.
While I was at WalMart I bought a giant street map of Cincinnati and the surrounding area. I am going to keep that thing glued to my side at all times for awhile.
In Tampa almost all of the roads run East-West or North-South. Here in Cincinnati the roads seem to twist and turn willy-nilly all over the place. Normally I have a pretty good sense of direction, but I think it is going to need some time to get adjusted.
I had to find a Fed-Ex office to mail my daughter some winter baby clothes. From what I have been told, Hurricane Wilma pretty much destroyed fall in Florida and brought winter in with her. The temperatures are in the 40’s and 50’s which is positively frigid for that area. Of course Tampa has no real warm baby clothes so my daughter sent me an SOS yesterday. Ap0k and I went out last night and bought the warmest clothes we could find. The poor baby is too little to be that cold already. Knowing Florida’s weather, it will probably be back in the 80’s by next week.
Tonight Ap0k took me to a place in Newport, Kentucky for dinner. There is an area of town called The Levees and if you are ever in the Cincinnati area I highly recommend going there. It has a movie theater, shops, restaurants, an aquarium, and a very nice river walk. First we went to a place called Mitchell’s Seafood and had without a doubt the best dinner I have ever eaten. From beginning to end it was amazing. Of course we stuffed ourselves silly so after dinner we went for a walk along the river. The only thing that separates Cincinnati and Kentucky is the Ohio River. From the Kentucky side, the view of downtown Cincinnati is simply stunning. I wish I had taken my camera with me. I plan on going back soon if only to take pictures at night. Our walk was fabulous. There is a good nip in the air, but the skies are as clear as can be. We ended up walking a pretty good distance too. I had an absolutely wonderful time. As Ap0k said, it was like a vacation in the middle of the week. It is definitely something we will be doing again.
After all of that we stopped off at Ap0k’s workplace to say hello to the guys who work at night. The man who runs the warehouse seems like a really nice guy. Actually, they all seemed pretty nice.
As soon as we got back to the hotel Ap0k fell sound asleep. I guess all that food and freah air after working all day takes it’s toll on you.

I am reading a new book called “Wicked – The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West” by Gregory Maguire. I am only on page 60 of 490 and I can already say that this is one of the most bizarre books I have ever read. Yes, it really is the life story of the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz. If you are up for a unique read, give this a shot. So far it is really good.

Ap0k and I were discussing to day whether we should rent a house or an apartment. I would love to go the apartment route because for the same money as a house you can get an apartment that kicks major ass. The only problem is where to put his car. It’s hard to find an apartment that has both a garage and accepts cats. I miss Tippy!!!!!!!!!!!
My little sister said Tippy must be mad at me now because he has kicked everything on my desk on to the floor. As soon as I find a house I will go get him! I know he’s just a cat, but he has been my shadow since he was born. I need my shadow back.

Hello Ohio!!

Well here I am in Ohio, sitting in a hotel room with Lappy.
The weather is crappy, rainy and cold, but that’s something I will have to get used to I guess.

The drive yesterday went well. It took me approx. 14 hours to get here.
Man oh man; I-75 gets HIGH through Tennessee! I was afraid to look over the side in a lot of places. You know you are high when your ears start popping.
The views were stunning though. I came through at just the right time. The leaves are changing so it was a mass of color everywhere I looked. In some places I even stayed behind the slow moving semi-trucks just so I could get a good look around. It’s a shame they don’t have places to pull over so that you can take pictures.

There is a lot of construction on I-75 through Georgia. The speed limit has been lowered of course, so it seems to take DAYS until you finally make it to Tennessee. If there is one place I will never speed, it is through a construction site. I’ve worked on road projects before and let me tell you, almost getting hit is not a pleasant feeling.

Amazingly I only saw two wrecks and both of them seemed pretty minor.

On I-75 North in Florida at the northern exit to Live Oak is the largest Rebel flag I have EVER seen in my life. I can imagine that it has pissed A LOT of people off!!!! I would even guess that there have been a lot of people who won’t even get off at that exit. I am surprised they allow it to be there. What’s strange is that it appears to be a county maintained site.

In Kentucky I was cut off by an ass in a black Escalade. He was whipping through traffic cutting off people left and right. About 3 miles or so down the road I came up on him pulled over to the side of the road by two police officers. Ahhhhh Karma. Sometimes it comes through for you.

When I left Tampa yesterday morning it was storming SO badly! Wilma was knocking hard on the door. Even though the storm was south of us, the way the storm was swirling made it so that I had to drive straight into the wind and rain coming from the north. It took me forever just to get to Ocala which normally takes no time at all. I had to drive almost to Gainesville before I got out of the heavy rain. It ended up raining/sprinkling/pouring on me several times through the whole trip. The scariest was in the mountains. We were in the clouds and the road was wet wet wet.

Today I am looking at local realtor websites trying to get a feel for what’s out there.
Ap0k is bringing lunch soon and then I think I will go out driving. My first stop will be to get a map! I am soooooooo lost right now! I’ll get the hang of the area pretty quick though. One thing I have noticed already, as bad as they say the roads are in Tampa, they are nothing compared to how crappy they are here! Ap0k is going to have to get a 2nd car pretty quickly or his baby will be beat to hell in no time. Good thing I drive a truck.

And yes, I am still overwhelmed!!!!!

Goodbye Florida

It's almost time to leave.
I have all of my bags packed and I am ready to go. I've decided to leave at 3am so that I may be able to get all the way to Ohio before it gets dark. I don't mind driving around here in the dark, but since I have no clue where I am going I figured it might be better if I could see when I got there.

Am I sad? A little.
Am I happy? Definetely!
Am I excited? You bet!!

As soon as we find a house to rent I will drive back down here and get everything together for the movers. Ap0k is going to fly down at the last minute so he will be here when the movers come.
Then it's done.....we will drive back together. Me, Ap0k, and Tippy in a Ford Ranger for 14 hours. That could get interesting.

We will be staying in a hotel for now (Ap0k has since he's been there.) Luckily they have free broadband so I am taking Lappy with me.
Am also taking my camera, so expect lots of pictures!

Of course Wilma is still trying to throw me a curve ball. At this point it looks like I will be leaving in tropical storm conditions. Oh joy!

I can't wait to see Ap0k!!

Nervous Breakdown Mix

All of us have our moments when we are positive we are having a nervous breakdown.
When that happens to you, what do you do? Drugs are not an option in my life. When I am stressed to the breaking point I have a set list of music that I listen to. Amazingly this list never fails to calm me down.

The list varies in genre’ a little, but for the most part it made up of older R&B.

Someone Hand Me A Tissue Please

Ap0k has been gone 10 minutes and I miss him already!
We really are two halves of a whole. I feel like half of me has been pulled apart.
I'm sure that probably sounds melodramatic to you, but in 20 years we really haven't been apart that much.
I guess I will sit here and boo-hoo for awhile.

Monday can't get here soon enough!!!

Last HURRAH???

Ap0k leaves for Cincinnati in the morning. I am going to miss him TERRIBLY!!!
I will follow on Monday.
It seems that I may get to leave the state with one last HURRAH because Hurricane Wilma is on her way here. The last track has her hitting pretty well south of here so it should be ok. I am not counting my chickens yet though, because each track has changed dramatically north and south.
Ap0k is horrified that he has to leave me here alone. He made me promise that if it looks like the weather will get bad here that I will toss myself and Tippy in the truck and haul ass.
I finally got some packing done!!! 12 large boxes of books, DVDs, CDs, and software. Sadly I will need at least one more box, if not two, to get it all packed up. Earlier today AP0k took several boxes of books and 6 lawn bags full of clothes to The Goodwill. Looking around I see that I have SO much to do. UGH!
All of the clothes have been sorted out so that’s out of the way. Little sister is scheduled to start staying here Monday. She will stay until I get back to finish up.
Tonight I have to pack all of AP0k’s clothes. That’s sad. I know I will see him again in just a few days, but even 5 minutes apart is too long.

Channel 43 - BackSpin

Just wanted to let anyone who REALLY likes old school rap, electro, and hip-hop to check out channel 43 on Sirius Radio.
The channel is called BackSpin and the music they play will just kill you.
Of course they have Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC, NWA, Public Enimy, LL Cool J (swoon), A Tribe Called Quest, etc, but they also play lesser known acts such as Cybotron, Jimmy Spicer, Leaders of the New School, Mellow Man Ace, etc.

Sirius Radio has channels for every taste, every type of music, sports and talk, but once I put it on channel 43 I don't have it in me to change it. Every song is better than the last.
And one of the DJs is Kurtis Blow, how can you not LOVE that????

Try the free 3 day stream, we did and now, cheap as we are, we actually pay for it.

Best of all.....no commercials and it's not censored.

I Need A Good Swift Kick In The Ass

I need a kick-start badly.

It’s time to start packing but I have no motivation to do it at all.
Because our daughter is going to rent this house from us when we leave I only have to pack up what I absolutely want to take. I told her that she is free to keep, toss, or sell anything we leave in the end.
While I know I can’t pack up everything right now, I could at the very least pack all of my books. I could also go through and sort out all of the clothes. Any of the clothes we don’t take will go to the mission. I could also pack the DVDs and computer CDs up too I guess.
So what is holding me up?
My mind is fighting itself terribly. One side says “Get up and start!” while the other side says “Don’t worry; you have plenty of time to get it done.”
I know that part of the problem is that I am such a packrat. I am afraid if I DON’T take something with me I will want it as soon as I get up there. I know I could always buy it again, but that’s just a waste of money. So how do I choose what I WILL want and what I can live without? Do I need ALL of my books? Do I need ALL of my craft supplies? Do I need ALL of the stuff in the hall closet? I know I am leaving the dishes, but which pans should I take?
What am I going to do about all of Ap0k’s car parts and stuff? I mean come on; there is even a full set of seats for his car in the closet. There are bits and pieces of Camaro everywhere I turn, up to and including a tranny in the closet. What am I going to do with it all? He has 2 giant rolling toolboxes slam full of tools, that’s not going to be easy to deal with. He also has tools in cases stashed all over. I don’t even want to think about what he has under the carport and in the shed! ACK! Actually I am not sure that the movers will even take some of his stuff. I may end up getting a trailer for some of it. I know they won’t want to dig his air compressor out of the shed. The list of do’s and don’ts that they gave us specifies that they will not take vehicles, but it says nothing about vehicle PARTS.
I wanted to get some of those nifty Space Bags to put the blankets and my wedding dress in, but DAMN they are expensive!
Should I take my dresser? I really like it, but it’s so big and bulky. Should I take the shelves in the closet? We just barely bought them.
I know I am leaving this chair. It’s worn out and makes my butt hurt!
I’m definitely going to take my desk because I just bought it. Same with the couch.
We are taking the bed because it is only a few months old.
Darn, I wish I would have known a couple months ago that we would be moving. I wouldn’t have bought all of this stuff.
We need to get rid of the truck in the backyard. We need to get the utilities shut off. We need to get the address changed once we have a new one.
One thing I DID get done today was to gather up all of the change and loose money lying around the house. I took all the change to a CoinStar machine and ended up with more than enough to pay for my gas up there and some food on the way.
It may not be much of a start, but at least it was something.

I can honestly say that right at this moment I am totally overwhelmed.

Jonzun Crew - Old School Electro At It's Finest

One of the most under-rated Electro groups of the 80’s would have to be Jonzun Crew.
Mixing Electro, Funk, and Sci-Fi, this group epitomizes the genre’.

Formed by brothers Michael, Larry, and Soni Johnson, the group also included Steve Thorpe and Gordy Worthy.

Though the group eventually released three albums, their first, ”Lost In Space”, is without a doubt their best. Released in 1983 and containing such songs as “Pac-Jam” and “We Are The Jonzun Crew”, “Lost In Space” is a MUST HAVE for all old school Electro fans. You may remember the song “Space Cowboy” (my favorite on the album) because it was a Top 20 R&B hit

Jonzun Crew holds a special place in my heart for a few different reasons. When I first met Ap0k in 1984 I was a metal head. I was into Ozzy, Iron Maiden, etc and thought that rap/hip-hop/electro was “stupid”. Ap0k on the other hand was a die hard fan of all things hip-hoppy (that sounds funny!) While we were dating he introduced me to music that I had never considered listening to before only because of it’s labels. He played his tapes over and over and while I did not care for it at first, it quickly became my favorite type of music for life. Jonzun Crew and Whodini were staples on our rides. The song “Ground Control” is forever embedded into my mind because it almost got me squashed! We were driving down the road and had the stereo on wide open as usually. We drove through an intersection, with a green light, and did not hear that there was a fire truck coming. I looked up to see the front of the fire truck coming right at my door! Ap0k stomped on the gas and managed to get by it. I will remember this song forever!

Michael Johnson left the group in 1986. He is now known as the person who “discovered” New Edition. He is also the writer and producer of New Edition’s hit single “Candy Girl. Michael, along with Larry (known as Maurice Starr) also helped develop New Kids On The Block.

Unfortunately “Lost In Space” is no longer in print so the only way to get a copy is to find a used one.

You have two options for download this time. I am going to put a stream up of “We Are The Jonzun Crew” for you to get a taste of Jonzun Crew. I have also uploaded the entire CD for those of you who might want it. The album is a copy of the original, which only contained 6 songs.

Tracklist:
1. We Are The Jonzun Crew
2. Space Is The Place
3. Electro Boogie Encounter
4. Ground Control
5. Space Cowboy
6. Pack Jam

Download it HERE.

Stolen Google Post

Being the thief that I am, I stole this idea from Stacie, who had stolen it from someone else. We are becoming a regular gang of criminals!!!

Directions: Go to Google and click on the images link. Type in the following and post the first (or your favorite) picture the search engine finds.

- The name of the town where you grew up
- The name of the town where you live now
- Your name
- Your Grandmother’s name (yeah, I know you probably had 2 (or more); just pick one)
- Your favorite food
- Your favorite drink
- Your favorite song
- Your favorite smell

Here are mine:

Name of the town I grew up in – Elkhart, Indiana. This picture was taken in April of 1965. It shows the Palm Sunday Twin Tornadoes. There is actually a family story in this picture. My parents were on their honeymoon and were actually chased down the interstate by these tornadoes!

Name of the town I live in now – Tampa, Florida (not for long!!!!). This is a picture of the Columbia Restaurant on 7th Ave. in Ybor City. It was opened in 1905.

When I searched my name I found this beauty. She was an actress from 1916-1926.

For my Grandma’s name I picked my Dad’s mother.

I’ve said before the macaroni&cheese is my all-time favorite food. I thought this was a cute cartoon.

Since all I drink is Dr. Pepper I guess that would be my favorite.

This one is a test for you. If you know me you should be able to guess the answer. This picture depicts my favorite song. What is it? Answer is at the bottom.

I had to think on the last one for a bit. What is my favorite smell??? There are several smells I love, but which to pick? I finally decided on “freshly mown grass” and was thrilled to see a picture from Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter come up in the search!

*Did you figure out the answer to my favorite song?
Purple Rain by Prince of course!

Alone Again......

Things are beginning to heat up around here.

Our daughter and our granddaughter are both doing fabulously. The baby is healthy as can be. She weighed 8 pounds even and was 22 ½” long. That is the exact same weight and length our daughter was when she was born. Happy coincidence!
After the baby was born we ended up leaving the hospital at about 3:30am and stopped at Steak ‘N Shake on the way home. We got to bed at about 4:45am and slept for 3 hours before we had to get right back up again. Ap0k went to work and I headed back to the hospital. After that my little sister and I went to WalMart and bought all of the baby clothes with chickens on them that we could find. Those who know me and Ap0k will understand the chickens. Then I had to go home and pack Ap0k’s bags. He came home and we jumped in my truck and headed for the airport. I figured it would be a nightmare being that it was 5:00pm but it was actually pretty empty in the passenger unloading zone. I always hate dropping him off at the airport because I miss him before I can even get back out onto the road. He’s off to Ohio until Thursday night. He goes back next Monday for the whole week if not longer. I will drive up in 2 weeks to look for a house to rent then come back and pack everything up.
The enormity of what is coming up is just starting to hit me. How am I going to find a house to rent all by myself? Ap0k isn’t going to have 2 spare minutes to help me. If it were around here it would be a snap, but I have to do it somewhere I have only visited for a week a year ago. I don’t know where anything is or what areas are good or bad. It is a daunting thought yes, but I know I will be able to do it.
We also have to come to a decision on which girl will get to stay in the house here. Will it be my daughter or my little sister?
I also have to decide what all I am taking with us and what I am leaving. Whoever gets to stay here gets all my leftovers (I can see them shaking their heads now.) I know I am leaving the TV, the microwave, a few bits of furniture, dishes, a lot of food (canned, boxed, and frozen), all my bookshelves, etc etc. Basically some of this and some of that. We were planning on getting new stuff eventually so we figured now would be a great time. This way we will have a lot less to move.
With all of the work Ap0k is going to have to do at the new DC I can see that I am going to be spending a majority of my time alone for a few months. What a depressing thought.
One thing I have caught myself doing the last few days is this…..I will be driving down the road saying “I might not see that ever again”, or I will be in a store and think “I might never shop here again.” I have found that none of it has upset me in the slightest which does surprise me.
So much to do, so little time. I can feel the stress starting to set in. I had better make sure to take my St. John’s Wort every day!!!!!

It's Official - We Are Now Grandparents!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family….

This is our granddaughter Mina. She was born just after midnight on 10-11-05 and weighed a healthy 8 pounds even.
As you can see, she is absolutely perfect.

ARGH....Still No Baby!!!

Our daughter went for labor induction at 6:00am this morning, it is now just after 9:00pm and there is still no baby. The doctors have said it could be up to 7 more hours. They sent us home for now and said that they would call when she gets closer to delivery time. Luckily the hospital is only 10 minutes away.
They also said she may end up having a c-section in the end.
*sigh*

I am having major sympathy pains to the point that it is making me break out in a sweat.

She needs to hurry up; Ap0k has to leave for Ohio tomorrow!!!

It's A Link-O-Rama Baby!

No one can look at porn all of the time. As much as I love pornography and the whole online porn community, sometimes it bores me to tears. When that happens I like to visit these sites:

You can waste hours looking around Lileks.com. This site is dedicated to the kitsch of the past. I have never seen a site that goes into such depth on subjects such as “Matchbook Covers”, “Bad Interior Design of the 70’s”, “Stagworld (a page by page look a the stag magazines of the past)”, “The Grooviest Motel in Wisconsin” , and on and on. Make sure to check out the art of Art Frahm; what is his fascination with women loosing their underwear??? For a great laugh take a look at the “Dorcus Collection” which is a selection of men’s fashion ads from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. They are hilariously awful. Every page brings new fits of giggles and awe.
I give this site a straight up 10 out of 10!

Sometimes only music will make you happy. When those times arise I suggest you head over to FindVideos.com. This site has links to streaming videos from just about every genre out there. There has to be something here for you, if not you are too darn picky.
I give this site an 8 out of 10.

I think most everyone knows about deviantArt. This site lets you create galleries to showcase your art for the world to see. While some of the art is pretty crappy, you will find some galleries that contain some absolutely stunning stuff. The site categorizes the art by gallery, wallpapers, avatars, skins, photography, traditional art, flash, poetry, etc. It is very easy to navigate and is well laid out. Make sure to check out their partner sites listed on the left side of the main page. You will find a wealth of art related sites to browse through, though it would take you forever just to get through deviantArt. At the time I wrote this there were 15,649,301 different pieces to look at and that number grows by the minute.
I give this site a good 9 out of 10.

Front Bumper is a site dedicated to “internet bumper stickers.” I got the one up above (Oh sure, like your web site’s so great!) from this site. There are several categories of stickers to see in the dropdown menu at the top of the page. Some of my favorites include “If all else fails, stop using all else!”, “Mistakes are proof that you’re trying.”, “Who says I want to fit in?”, and “Life, it’s just a cereal.”
I give this site a 5 out of 10 but it is worth a visit now and then.

Did you know that “A HIRER GOLF MOM” and “LARGE FIRM HOMO” are all anagrams of “A Girl From Home”? Large firm homo???? What the crap is that? Too funny if you ask me.
If you want to know the anagram for any word or saying out there then head over to The Internet Anagram Server”. Type in any word, name or saying and it will give you a zillion anagrams of it. Tons of them are gibberish of course, but as you see with mine you will run across some funny ones too.
6 out of 10 for the sheer time wasting abilities of the site.

“01000011011000010110111000100000011110010110111101110101001000000111001001100101
0110000101100100001000000111010001101000011010010111001100111111”

Can you read that? It actually says “Can you read this?” in binary code. Turn any word or saying into binary code, or turn binary code into real words at NickCiske.com. While it may not be on your list of things to learn, it’s actually kinda cool in a geeky sort of way.
6 out of 10 for it’s geekiness.

Hopefully you will find something in these links to pass the time with. I know that I have wasted many an hour with them.

Unconventional Beauty

I’ve said before that I am not a fan of the cookie-cutter porn models.
That being said…..Please meet Scar. She is a truly unique beauty. For some reason Goth girls always fascinate me, yet Goth guys hold no interest to me in the slightest. The majority of Goth fashion tends towards blacks and blues with touches of red. I would love to be able to dress in the Goth style, but that would make me a terrible poser!! I also want real purple hair, but sadly Ap0k has put the kibosh on that. Can’t say I blame him though because I guess 40 is a tad too old to be running around looking freaky.
