A Girl From Home

Being the thief that I am, I stole this idea from Stacie, who had stolen it from someone else. We are becoming a regular gang of criminals!!!

Here are mine:

Name of the town I grew up in – Elkhart, Indiana. This picture was taken in April of 1965. It shows the Palm Sunday Twin Tornadoes. There is actually a family story in this picture. My parents were on their honeymoon and were actually chased down the interstate by these tornadoes!



Name of the town I live in now – Tampa, Florida (not for long!!!!). This is a picture of the Columbia Restaurant on 7th Ave. in Ybor City. It was opened in 1905.



When I searched my name I found this beauty. She was an actress from 1916-1926.



For my Grandma’s name I picked my Dad’s mother.



I’ve said before the macaroni&cheese is my all-time favorite food. I thought this was a cute cartoon.



Since all I drink is Dr. Pepper I guess that would be my favorite.

I had to think on the last one for a bit. What is my favorite smell??? There are several smells I love, but which to pick? I finally decided on “freshly mown grass” and was thrilled to see a picture from Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter come up in the search!
