Hurricane Dennis is in the midst of passing us by. Lucky for us it turned a little to the west so all we are getting is squall lines. It rained so had and fast this morning that our road was flooded. The winds keep coming and going, but none of them have been major. I found out later that a tornado touched down only a few miles away during that one squall. At this time the storm is a category 3 but is expected to turn back into a category 4 in the next few hours.
My heart goes out to the people this is going to hit. After working the cleanup last year I now know what can really happen.

I have heard from all of my friends who live in England. Thankfully everyone is ok. One of them has a son who was very close to one of the explosions. That is scary. Way too close to home for me!
